I’ve Been Blessed with an Award!

I have such wonderful blogger friends! What a blessing God has given me. Today, my blogger friend Rea, gave me the Versatile Blogger Award. How nice is that? Thanks Rea!

The award comes with an opportunity to pass on the blessing to others. And here’s the rules of the award.

  1. Thank the person who awarded you and link back to them in your post.
Okay, I did that in the first paragraph. 🙂
  2. Tell 7 random facts about yourself.
One: I’ve finally gone back to my naturally straight hair after years of permanents, and I love it!
Two: I love to blog. (Okay, that’s probably not so random, but it stays.)
Three: I love my little cockapoo named Roman; he’s so cute and sweet.
Four: I love chocolate, preferably dark and rich.
Five: I love to read my Bible, C.S. Lewis, and other good books.
    Six: I love my family.
    Seven: I love Jesus!
  3. Pass the award on to 15 new-found bloggers. (Since I got the award from bended spoon, I’m going to bend the rules a bit and give the award to some of my favorite bloggers.)
    One: Ann at Tonirand’s Blog
    Two: Jim at BlessedDad’s Weblog
Three: Vineet at Daily Christian Journal
    Four: Bryan at Broken Believers
    Five: Deb at Deb’s Blog
Six: Eden at Thorns and Myrtles
Seven: Loren at Answer from the Book
Eight: April at April’s Faith Thoughts
Nine: Linda at Shoes for an Imaginary Life
Ten: Karla at Out of Eden Ministries
Eleven: Chris at We Are Made of Sound
    Twelve: Ben at Justified Freely
Thirteen: Rani at Springs in the Desert
    Fourteen: Kyle at Revine
Fifteen: Brad at Brad Shimomura’s Blog
Bonus: Idylls for the King – this one is a bonus because I am one of 15 contributors, some of whom are on my list already.

One thing all of these great bloggers have in common, besides being versatile, is that they all love Jesus, too!

  4. Contact each blogger you want to pass the award on to and let them know you’ve done so, and let the giver of your award know you accept it.
I already did the second half of this, and will contact all these wonderful bloggers after I post this.

I hope all my fellow bloggers enjoy receiving this wonderful Versatile Blogger Award! May God bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you, and may He give you peace. (And Rea will tell you, I’m always sharing His peace when I comment on other’s blogs.)

I am a Jesus Freak, and I don't care who knows it. I am a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. My blood family is only part of the larger family of Christ that I belong to. I love to write, especially about my dear Savior.

  1. Thank you so much Linda for that award …but I really do not know how to pick it up…You have been a blessing in my life and I thank God for all the efforts you do for the Kingdom of God.

    May God Bless You,
    Rani John

  2. Linda… Thank you so much for my Versatile Blogger Award. For a gal who always stuggles with wanting to fit in, I feel like I’m suddenly part of a team who writes with passion and integriy… a real honor!

Do you know if I can put that logo in my sidebar? It would be nice to look at it every day, just as a reminder…

    Thanks again!

    • Linda, You make a wonderful addition to Team Jesus! It is an honor to be on the same team as you. I think putting the award in your sidebar is the whole purpose. I’ve been meaning to put it in mine; it’s just been a crazy day so no time. Peace, Linda

  3. Thanks, Linda, I just stopped by and am honored by your gift Like some of the other recipients mentioned, I don’t know that I could really be considered “versatile” in what I write, I am kind of stuck on one subject…but it sure is a great subject to be stuck on, isn’t it?

God bless you, Linda, and thanks for taking the time to brighten the day of your fellow-bloggers with your wonderful encouragement!

    • Loren, As I told Jim, you follow where God leads and that takes some versatility. And even though your overall subject – Jesus – may always be the same, you share so many different thoughts about different parts of the Bible that I think that makes you versatile, too. Peace, Linda

  4. Thank you, Linda.

Very thoughtful of you! ( Me? Versatile Blogger? 🙂 )

I have to figure out how to return the favour since half my subscribers are non WordPress bloggers and each post goes out as an email …

Thanks for considering me, Versatile One … 🙂

  5. Thanks so much Linda,
I don’t feel versatile, I sometimes feel my writing is predictable. I know that what I write does not come from me, but from God, he takes all the credit. Without Him, I have no words. God Bless sister!

  6. Thank you sweet friend! 🙂 I really don’t know how to pick up the award, but I do appreciate you thinking of me. haha! I’m not so versatile, but you definitely are. God bless you and all the ways He is working through you today!
