Poetry for Healing

This is just a quick post to share that I have had two poems published in the Antelier of Healing. My poems are in chapter 4, but this lovely online anthology has many more poems about trauma and recovery.

These poems are a great example of the importance of patience in the world of publishing. I submitted three poems for this anthology on August 15, 2020. I didn’t hear back until December 23, 2020 that they wanted to publish two of the three I submitted. The anthology was not published until just a few days ago.

I’m delighted that I’ve been invited to submit to this publisher’s next anthology of poetry titled A Given Grace: An Anthology of Christian Poems. I’ll let you all know if I have any poems published there.

I am a Jesus Freak, and I don't care who knows it. I am a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. My blood family is only part of the larger family of Christ that I belong to. I love to write, especially about my dear Savior.

  1. Linda, I just read your two poems. Both, so powerful. Every line. “Don’t ever call me brave.” Yes! No matter what the shame, in Christ we are unashamed.
“What are these weeds, we planted seeds” (going from memory, may not be exact wording. Thank you. May God use His words through you to bring healing to many.
