I’ve Been Interviewed!

Last fall, I was interviewed by Cynthia L. Simmons for her radio show and podcast titled Heart of the Matter. I talked about my experience with sexual assault trauma, the effects of that trauma, and how God showed me the way out of the pit of depression and despair I was mired in. The interview was supposed to air in November, but somehow it fell through the cracks.

In December, I contacted Cynthia to see what had happened and she said she had somehow missed getting it on her calendar. I can totally understand something like that happening because we’re all so busy, plus 2020 was marked by the added stress of Covid–19. I’m just glad I followed up with her, because she was able to get the interview produced and up online this past week.
