That is perfect. I was with my sister last week and she was raving about the care of her window boxes while she was away. She said she has never really seen her flowers grow so good. I said you have to deadhead them all the time. She laughed. She won’t. Hahaha
I’ve been tempted to deadhead flowers I see on my walk because the owners clearly don’t. Then I remember how many I have to care for in my own yard and let it go. 🙂
RIght?!?!?! When I am shopping if I see flowers that need it I instinctually start doing it!
Nice use of repetition, Linda. Don’t you find dead-heading to be such a relaxing, peaceful sort of activity. I do it every night in the flower pots we have on the deck.
Yes, I agree. Very relaxing and it reminds me to think about the One who created the flowers. I don’t do it every night, but at least 3 times a week.

I moved several flowering plants in pots to an unprotected area. The deer were more than willing to dead head them all for me and they even cleaned up their mess. The plants are fine, just bloom-less. 🙂
Thank you. I just rescued this lovely comment from my spam filter. I haven’t had deer deadhead my flowers, but we did have a squirrel who did a number on one of my dianthus. I guess they have to eat too. 🙂

I never have because we don’t start too many things with seeds. Spring here is a bit wet and cold. But this year I bought my husband a portable greenhouse so maybe I’ll do that. 😁♥️☀️
