Don’t Let Fear Win

In these challenging times in which we are living, fear seems to be a common response. It is certainly prudent to be cautious and follow CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Fear of how the economy will be impacted by the closing of so many businesses is also prevalent. In the face of lost employment and dwindling savings, exploring options is certainly prudent.

Yet allowing fear to rule the day, instead of trusting God is in control, will serve no good purpose. Fear is our foe. Don’t let it win.

Fear My Foe

My adversary
fueled by lies
in disguise

You shan’t win
oh dreaded fear
if I hold truth
ever near

My devilish foe
all deceit
my Advocate
I’d have you meet

He is Truth
and the Way
You shan’t win
but perish this day
