Me and Dem free-falling!

Sometimes it develops slowly
in hard times when
the Lord has seen us through
and evidence mounts
supporting a comfortable
quiet sinking into a faith that saves
a faith that sustains
as again and again
He is faithful

Other times it takes a leap

I almost missed the first Quadrille Monday of the year at dVerse Poets Pub, but I’m leaping in with all forty-four words just in time for the fun. Head on over and check out where and how the other poets are leaping today.

About Linda Kruschke

I am a Jesus Freak, and I don't care who knows it. I am a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. My blood family is only part of the larger family of Christ that I belong to. I love to write, especially about my dear Savior.

  1. Faith, grace comes to us in different ways, at different times. In a way it always demands a leap! I like what you did with this, Linda.

That free falling picture makes me realize I probably wouldn’t be able to do that. Nice description of faith in your poem.
