Lapping the pebbly sand
7/28/15 update: Shared today for the dVerse Poets Pub prompt on nature.
Oh, now this is very good. You’ve completely mastered the turn from the first two lines to the last. A haiku master, to be sure.

Thank you! I’m new to haiku, but I do like to do them they way they are supposed to be done (most of the time).
the world beneath the waves is wonderful, and the sound of the sea, a blessing. Lovely senru
oh yes, those waves seem so calm, and yet they contain so much power. Beautiful haiku!
def love the simplicity and calmness of this
Oh yes.. without the biggest
turmoil underneath ??? 🙂
Well, if the sharks and rays I saw from the submarine at 100 ft deep count, then most definitely yes. 😉
“Deceptively calm” key to unlock the oceanic character…
I have experienced that…and miss it!
I was just there a couple of weeks ago and I miss it already.
Lovely and peaceful….ocean waves are hypnotic.
the calmness may be on the surface only…sometimes we have to watch for deeper storms
Oh, yes! lovely
Strong, beautiful, & lovely! Cheers!
Yes, deceptively calm, as we are at times. Lovely lull of ocean waves.
That last line describes the ocean very well: Deceptively calm
Such a delightful depiction of the ocean 😀
AH, the rhythm of the ocean is definitely restorative. It is like a meditation in and of itself, just listening to it lap the shores. Nice change of scenery.
See? Beautiful choice of words….melodious and lapping…..definitely can’t go wrong with Hawaii and the ocean 🙂
