Summer’s End
According to the calendar, summer has come to an end. Fall is in the air, as they say. Even the warm, sunny days this past week had a different feel than the long days of summer.
I thought I’d share today some of my early fall photography and poetry. May you find such beauty in your fall days.

I thought the above plant was done blooming a month ago. Imagine my delight when it graced us with new blooms so late in the year, when I’d almost given up on it. Another week and I might have cut it back completely. What a lovely picture of hope.

This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago, but this lantana is still blooming and this butterfly visits our deck every day.
Wow to both the photos and the poetry!
Thank you!
The photos are amazing! 😍 I love the story behind the first one.
Thank you. I’m always amazed how my phone camera can take such good shots close up. Distance pictures are never as good.
