Love Knows – A Poem
This is a poem my son gave me today for Valentine’s Day, along with a beautiful sketch of a heart. He said he didn’t write it, but it was an anonymous poem that he liked, and he wanted me to share it on my blog.
Love Knows
Love knows no reasons
Love knows no lies
Love defies all reason
Love has no eyes
But love is not blind
Love sees but doesn’t mind
It simply enables one to see
The things others fail to see
i absolutely love this!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment! Peace, Linda
i actually wrote down the poem in my journal for keepsake 🙂
We’re lucky to have sweet sons Linda! Mine are cut out hearts 🙂
Rea, Yes, sons are wonderful! 🙂 Peace and love, Linda
Beautiful and so sweet!
Thanks. A sweet poem from a sweet kid. Sometimes I can even forget he’s a teenager. 🙂
That is so sweet that he gave that to you and wanted you to share it with us too! I like the ending, about us being able to see what others fail to see. 🙂 <3 God bless you and yours!
Deb, I tried to get him to scan the sketch for me to post with it, but it was late and he was about ready for bed. I think I might ask him to sketch something for me to scan and put on my blog header. Peace, Linda
