Paint Chip Poetry Prompt #8

I can’t believe it’s time for paint chip prompt #8. Of course, I can’t believe it’s almost the end of February either. Where does the time go? Perhaps in a parallel universe it doesn’t fly by so quickly. Which brings me to today’s prompt. I’d...

I Sing a Song of Love

The seeds of a poem were planted during a Zoom call with my Author Access group. I love this group. Technically it’s just a group of students in an author marketing course run by Alice Crider. But it’s become so much more. The members of...

Paint Chip Poetry Prompt #7 for My Valentine

Paint Chip Poetry Prompt #4

It’s now week #4 of my Paint Chip Poetry Prompt and this week we’re daydreaming . . . again. Isn’t that what poetry writing is all about? Daydreaming? I’m daydreaming that 10 people are going to read the prompt and be inspired to write something...

Paint Chip Poetry Prompt #3

It’s week #3 of my Paint Chip Poetry Prompt. The last two weeks the words were quite arbitrary and odd. I really do pull them from the paint chip deck randomly, so I never know what we’ll get. This week, with one exception, I think...
