Drawn In

I’m drawn like cobalt to a magnet,

My paucity seeking Your infinite grace.

You don’t need me;

Yet–

You draw me in because

You love me.

Iron shavings scattered on the floor

come together in Your magnetic presence.

So I take shape in You.

It’s been awhile since I participated in Quadrille Monday at dVerse Poets Pub. Life has been a little crazy and I don’t like to link up to the Quadrille post if I don’t have time to read others. But today something drew me to the Quadrille prompt. Perhaps it was the prompt word, which is some form of the word magnet.

Head over to the pub and see what other poets are offering up for their magnetic Quadrilles.

I am a Jesus Freak, and I don't care who knows it. I am a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. My blood family is only part of the larger family of Christ that I belong to. I love to write, especially about my dear Savior.
