Juggling 101 — A Poem for NaPoWriMo
Well, it’s day #3 of NaPoWriMo2024 and a poem has been swirling all day, so I decided to post it. I may take its advice and not continue posting new poems the rest of the month. I may not.
Juggling 101
Don’t juggle more balls than you are able
Don’t juggle bowling balls
Don’t juggle three balls or other items until you’ve mastered juggling two
Don’t juggle knives if they are sharp and you are an amateur
Don’t juggle flaming torches in a loose-fitting flammable outfit and no fire extinguisher nearby
Don’t juggle multiple items of different shapes and sizes without a plan
Don’t overestimate how many things you can juggle
Don’t juggle to impress other people
Don’t keep juggling just because someone else said you had to
Don’t juggle things you don’t want to juggle
Don’t forget to let Jesus hold all the things when you’re too overwhelmed and can’t juggle anymore
