Blogging Is Hard

I have missed many days of blogging. My intention was to write something every day. But then my thoughts were filled with things I did not feel comfortable publicly blogging about. I didn’t want to write mere fluff because it seems such a waste of my time  and that of my potential readers.

Jack Bogdanski once commented that I “make people think.” I’m not sure people want to think about what I’ve been thinking about lately. The controversy surrounding my thoughts might garner a few more comments than I have received to date, but I don’t think I’m ready for that.

But 2010 is a new year and the beginning of a new decade. I will keep blogging, though probably not every day. My plan is to post new entries at least weekly, and definitely more often than in December 2009.

I once read that Billy Graham, before he started his first crusades in New York City, said “I believe God would have us go to hard places, not easy ones.” So even though this is a hard place, I will come here and hopefully share some thoughts that make us all think.

I am a Jesus Freak, and I don't care who knows it. I am a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. My blood family is only part of the larger family of Christ that I belong to. I love to write, especially about my dear Savior.
