Kool-Aid for Recipe Friday

It’s been a crazy week, and I haven’t done much cooking (as in I’ve only cooked once and it’s a recipe I’ve already posted). So I asked my son what I should post for my Friday recipe. He suggested Kool-Aid. (When I typed that while he watched, he inserted: “LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL”.)

Anyway, the recipe for Kool-Aid is about as creative as I get this week. It actually cracks me up that my son likes Kool-Aid because it was what I drank all the time growing up. We even had Kool-Aid stands instead of lemonade stands. I think the reason we drank this a lot was because it was so cheap. So here it is, the incredibly complex recipe for Kook-Aid.

Ingredients:

1 packet of your favorite Kool-Aid flavor
¾ to 1 cup of sugar
2 quarts water

Directions:

Add sugar to 2 quart pitcher. If you like your Kool-Aid very sweet, use 1 cup of sugar. But if you like it a little less sweet, use ¾ cup. Pour in Kool-Aid packet. Fill packet with water and pour into pitcher to get all of the flavoring out. Add remaining water and stir. Refrigerate before serving.
