My apologies to those of you waiting for today’s Paint Chip Poetry Prompt. I’m in the middle of coordinating the Oregon Christian Writers Cascade Writing Contest and it is taking much more time and energy than I thought it would. There is none left over for paint chips.
So today I’m just posting a few paint chips with no other details. It’s a free write week. Do with these three paint chips whatever you want.
The words and phrases you have at your disposal are stepping stone, grandma’s hydrangeas, and heirloom tomato.
Have some fun with this one, with no parameters to hold you back.
So there’s no poem from me this week either. I haven’t even gotten last week’s kyrielle written. When I make my way out from under the almost 200 entries we received in the contest and get them to the judges for scoring, I’ll come back to both prompts and write something.
In the meantime, I look forward to reading what you all come up with. I see some gardens in this week’s prompt, but who knows what you’ll be inspired to write.
