A Sunny Day

Sun illuminates trees
creating shadowed patterns on their trunks

A slight breeze
making the branches sway and shadows dappled

Surely busy bees
buzzing on their way to pollinate flowers

Squirrels at ease
trusting days of feasting are at hand

Somewhere a sneeze
declaring spring pollen fills the fresh air

And winter flees
knowing it has overstayed its welcome

I am a Jesus Freak, and I don't care who knows it. I am a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. My blood family is only part of the larger family of Christ that I belong to. I love to write, especially about my dear Savior.
