Today is my husband’s and my 26th wedding anniversary, and since it is also Thankful Thursday I thought it would be nice to write a little poem for the occasion. It’s been a busy day and so I’m getting a bit of a late start on writing it, but I’ve been pondering what to write off and on all day. Here is what I came up with.
Vows of Love
For better or for worse
In sickness and in health
The vows we shared
Vows revealing our love
Some days are better
Some days are worse
Sickness and health
we have seen together
We cling to our vows
To our life joined in God
No matter what life brings
Our love will never die
