Sharing Our Blessed Assurance

The Third Day concert last night was excellent! The music — including the opening acts The Neverclaim, Trevor Morgan, and Matt Maher — was awesome, energetic, and worshipful. I had such a great time praising God and meeting new friends.

One of my favorite parts of the show was when Mac Powell disappeared off the stage and popped up two rows behind me on the center aisle. I was quick enough to record the first song he sang on my phone and uploaded it to my YouTube channel. It was a good old hymn -Blessed Assurance- which went perfectly with the story Mac later told on stage of how Jesus is his Savior (and yours and mine). All who recognize their sinfulness and trust in Jesus have the blessed assurance of knowing they are saved.

There’s a lot more I could write about the concert, and I do want to share some of the new music that I got while I was there, but it’s been a long, busy day so this video is going to be my post for today. The audio isn’t great because it was just recorded on my phone. But I hope you enjoy it almost as much as I enjoyed the concert.

I am a Jesus Freak, and I don't care who knows it. I am a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. My blood family is only part of the larger family of Christ that I belong to. I love to write, especially about my dear Savior.
