Jesus Knows

Today is the last Music Monday before the Third Day concert! I am so excited about the concert and getting to meet the band before the concert.

All this past week I’ve been listening to one of their earlier albums called Conspiracy No. 5. One of my favorite songs on that album is called Who I Am, so I decided to share it with you all today. I found this video of it on YouTube and thought it was pretty cool.

This song reminds me that even though Jesus loves me just the way He found me, He wants to change me so that I become more like Him. He wants “to rearrange the way I feel inside.”

When I first came to know Him and trust in Him, I was depressed and lost. But He took my broken heart and mended it. He made everything right. As this song says, Jesus will take “The broken hearts of lonely souls / And make all things right.”

But so often the broken-hearted and the lost think there is no way God could ever love them. They ask God, “Do you know who I am? Have you seen the things I’ve done?” I know I did. I was pretty sure at one point that there was no way anyone could ever love me if they knew who I was and all the things I’d done, especially not someone like the God of the Universe.

The good news is that God does know who we all are and everything we’ve all ever thought or done. Jesus knows because He bore all our sin as He hung on the cross. And He loves us anyway. He always will.

I am a Jesus Freak, and I don't care who knows it. I am a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. My blood family is only part of the larger family of Christ that I belong to. I love to write, especially about my dear Savior.

  1. Oh, Linda. Me too.

The more I learn about your personal journey, the more I am inspired that God’s same grace will apply to me. Thank you for your transparency and your willingness to reach out.

    • Linda, I am so blessed to be able to inspire others to trust in God by sharing what He has done for and in me. Sharing how He has changed me is the least I can do for all that He has done for me. Peace, Linda

  2. Oh thank you Linda, for ministering to us again. I hadn’t heard this one for awhile, and it really blessed me. So blessed that Jesus can know the things we’ve done and love us anyway. God bless you and your excitement for Him . . .and for a band that loves Him too!
