What Good, Indeed!

This morning I was reading Matthew 16 and 17. There is a lot of good stuff in these two chapters that could be the start of a great blog post. I may well be re-reading them to come up with one or two others. But one passage in particular reminded me of one of my favorite Third Day songs called What Good.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:24-26 (NIV).

Since it is Music Monday, I decided to share this song with you all.

I am a Jesus Freak, and I don't care who knows it. I am a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. My blood family is only part of the larger family of Christ that I belong to. I love to write, especially about my dear Savior.
