Tonight is Christmas Eve! I am looking forward to our Christmas Eve candlelight service; it is my favorite service of the year. I awoke this morning with the joy and wonder of Christmas in my heart, and the beginnings of a Christmas poem in my head. I hope you like it.
Christmas Eve
Christ is born in a manger
Hallelujah the angels sing
Raising their voices in praise
Infant Son of God Most High
Shepherds in awe this night
Trumpets sound at His coming
Magi come from the East
Arriving to worship the King
Savior of the world, the Word made flesh
Even now
Voices praise Him
